Susan Francy is a photographer in Wilmington. We live in Southport. This is just the first thing I noticed when thinking back on my time with Susan. She is the most accommodating photographer I have ever dealt with. She came to my house and followed us to the location of my choice, since she was unfamiliar with the area. Kayleigh, my daughter, took off onto the beach running full speed. Susan politely said don’t fuss at her – just let her do what she wants.
It was great advice. I’ve never seen anyone capture the true Kayleigh – who is always in motion. Susan had Kayleigh sit on the steps to the beach while answering questions and talking with us. Susan has an amazing talent and this was by far the easiest photo session yet. As a parent you want pictures of your children and family. But I also wanted my Kay Ray’s personality to shine through in the pictures and she did just that. The next afternoon Susan sent the log in to Kayleighs portfolio on her website to my email. So I went and picked the ones that were my favorite, picked the portrait sizes, and that was that.
It really was that easy. A couple of days later, I check my mail and there is a beautiful postcard of Kayleigh going to hand on of us a shell. On the back was a little note to Kayleigh from Susan she was thanking Kay for the experience and the shells that Kay had given her that day on the beach. Kayleigh says to me,” That’s my friend Susan”. I thought wow. That’s my friend Susan too. I have never seen a child photo session go so easy. Thank you Susan for capturing the true essence of my beautiful little girl and for treating us like people and not just another set of pictures. I will be using Susan Francy Photography again and again. She is remarkable!
